Europe's 1st Latin and Afro-Cuban music festival!
Tempo Latino Festival "El Único" has been preserving, maintaining and promoting its artistic approach to Afro-Cuban and Latin music since 1994. Born of the desire to promote this lively, popular music, Tempo Latino and its 500 volunteers invite you to discover Latin rhythms over 4 days.
In its Occitanie region, the Gers department is opening up to the international scene by supporting the cultural adventure of Tempo Latino, built on pride and risk-taking to produce all these artists from the Latin planet.
In Vic-Fezensac (population 3,700), the arena stage and its "geo-rhythmic" satellites, the Conga and Cap Tempo, welcome a mixed, well-traveled public, with artists both unmissable and yet to be discovered, offering a festival in the heat of late July where everyone is free to come and meet the rhythms, people, flavors and other pleasures shared for a rich, colorful journey full of surprises...
TEMPO LATINO, MEETING AND SHARING
Over the past 30 years, organizing a festival has become increasingly demanding and "professional", but the fact remains that Tempo Latino relies on the immense commitment of its volunteers.
As with the program, eclecticism has always been the order of the day. Initially drawn from the sporting and cultural associations of Vic-Fezensac and the surrounding area, our reputation has grown along with our desire to share the adventure, and now people come from far and wide to contribute to a collective effort.
Gathered in casas, barrios or social clubs, the volunteers make Tempo unique. From the transformation of the site into a motley pueblo, to welcoming festival-goers and artists, to all the logistics involved in staging a festival of international stature, they do their utmost to make the experience a complete one.
At Tempo, everyone brings their own seed, and the result is a garden as chaotic as it is unique. The Tempo Latino Social Club evening on Thursday is dedicated to them, and this year it will be preceded by the inauguration, a necessary reminder that Tempo is run by and for its VOLUNTEERS!

Tempo Latino, Europe's ambassador for Latin, Afro-Cuban & Caribbean music! Over the festival's 26-year history, more than 35 countries have been represented. We've been proud to welcome nearly 250 internationally renowned bands, as well as 2,500 musicians who have brought a little Tempo with them.
